Supplies you will need throughout the year -
Although the school does provide all the essentials, most students
prefer to have their own personal supply of some items:
- pencils (LOTS of
pencils!)
- erasers
- colored pencils
- highlighter
- red felt-tip or
gel pen for correcting work
- loose-leaf lined
paper
- Either 1 large 3-ring binder
with dividers, or 3 small ones (to keep returned work organized)

two (2) cheap
calculators (one for
school and one for home)

earbuds for use with
your Chromebook on approved activities
- tissues
- ruler
- scotch tape
It's easy for both
students and parents to stay informed

I will
be making extensive use of this website with my classes throughout the
school year. The Homework
Page (bookmark it!) will
be updated on a daily basis with current assignments. You'll also find
photos, videos, and links to projects and extra credit.

Grades are accessible online through Power
School. If you need login information, please contact our
school secretary (Mrs. Gray) at 325-3063.

District-wide events,
including athletics, can be found on our various online calendars.

The best way to
contact Mr. Grimes is by email (grimesd@benzieschools.net).
I also check my voicemail daily (325-3063, ext. 5233), although I often
have to wait until after school is over to return calls. The outgoing
phone message will serve as our Homework
Hotline, and will be updated each evening by 4:00 with that day’s
assignments, just like the Homework Page.
