--Welcome NEW Director of Transportation, Constance Jenkins!--

Benzie County Central Schools welcomes Constance Jenkins as their next Director of Transportation.

Connie comes to us from Dean Transportation.

"Hi, everyone! My name is Connie Jenkins, and I'm excited to introduce myself as the new Director of Transportation for Benzie County Central Schools.I was born in St. Joseph Michigan, and I'm the youngest of three sisters.

Growing up, tap dancing quickly became my greatest passion.  Aside from the joy of raising my two wonderful daughters, who are now 22 and 20, some of my favorite memories are of performing on stage. My career has taken me on an unexpected but rewarding journey- from nursing to food service, and then, in 2022, to driving a school bus.

What started as a new opportunity quickly became something I truly love.  There's nothing quite like building relationships with the students, greeting them each morning, and knowing I play a small part in helping them start and end their school day safely.

I feel incredibly grateful to now serve as Director of Transportation.  I look forward to working alongside our amazing transportation team, supporting families, and continuing to provide safe and dependable transportation throughout our beautiful Northern Michigan communities.

Thank you for welcoming me into this role. I'm excited for the years ahead and for the opportunity to help support our students as they learn, grow and build bright futures.

"Please help me in giving a warm welcome to Connie.

Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Crossman
