That’s a wrap for the Benzie Central Middle School VIQRC teams this season. 

They had their last tournament up in Bellaire on Saturday. 

Team 74484A, The Party Cats, will be competing in the Michigan State Championship on  March 8.Great season!

National School Counseling Week 2026 (#NSCW26) is February 2-6, 2026, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. 

The theme is: School Counselors Amplify Student Success.National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a job/trade/career.

Homestead Hills Elementary held their Benzie Area Christian Neighbors (BACN) Cereal Drive Dominoes Event this morning, January 30, 2026. 

 This is a popular charitable event where schools and organizations collect boxes of cereal to donate to local food pantries, arranging them to fall like dominos beforehand.

and.....they did it!  

Let's hear it for their success! 

Thank you to Mrs. Barnes and the Homestead Hills Elementary Student Council members for organizing this fundraiser and school event. 

These boxes of cereal will be donated to our local food pantry, BACN.
