Carson Case scores 1,000 Points

Carson Case scored his 1,000th career point, becoming the 11th player in our school’s history to do so on the boys’ side. 

His 1,000th point was a 3-pointer in transition, with an assist from fellow senior, Rowan Zickert. 

Rowan Zickert breaks school record with 99 steals

Rowan also had a big night as he broke our school’s single season record for steals by posting a 17 point, 10 steal double-double. 

The previous record of 98 steals, set by Jaxon Childers in 2021-22, was eclipsed by Rowan as he now sits at 99 steals with several games still to go.

Middle School Husky Robotics - WOO HOO!

That’s a wrap for the Benzie Central Middle School VIQRC teams this season. 

They had their last tournament up in Bellaire on Saturday. 

Team 74484A, The Party Cats, will be competing in the Michigan State Championship on  March 8.Great season!

Homestead Hills Elementary held their (BACN) Cereal Drive Dominoes Event

Homestead Hills Elementary held their Benzie Area Christian Neighbors (BACN) Cereal Drive Dominoes Event this morning, January 30, 2026. 

 This is a popular charitable event where schools and organizations collect boxes of cereal to donate to local food pantries, arranging them to fall like dominos beforehand.

and.....they did it!  

Let's hear it for their success! 

Thank you to Mrs. Barnes and the Homestead Hills Elementary Student Council members for organizing this fundraiser and school event. 

These boxes of cereal will be donated to our local food pantry, BACN.

Way to go, Homestead Hills Elementary!
