Lake Ann Elementary and Homestead Hills Elementary have licensed before and aftercare programs available for families that need care outside of school hours.  The program runs from 7:00am – 8:45am and 4:00pm – 5:30pm. Tuition is $15 per session and is billed on a monthly basis, and does accept DHHS child care subsidy.

The Benzie Early Childhood Programs are licensed and provide high-quality preschool experiences for children Birth to 5 years old. The classrooms are supported by Early Childhood Specialists and all staff go through at least 24 hours of professional development per year. Classrooms utilize Creative Curriculum to support learning and development with a whole-child approach. Betsie Valley Elementary, Homestead Hills Elementary, and Lake Ann Elementary all have Early Childhood Programs in their buildings.
