My name is Katie Hohfeldt and I am super excited to be your child’s second grade teacher!!! I live in Benzie County with my husband and our two young kids.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2009, completed a year-long internship in Grand Rapids Public Schools, moved to Kansas to teach for two years, taught in Detroit for a year, and relocated to Benzie County in February 2014, where I have lived ever since. I have spent the last nine and a half years working for TCAPS, primarily at Blair Elementary. I have experience teaching every elementary grade except first as well as reading intervention and math intervention. This year is my fifth year teaching second grade and I absolutely love it!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach your second grader here at Homestead Hills, which is where my children will attend school when they are old enough to begin. Go Huskies!
