~Bond and Sinking Fund Projects and Updates~

We are extremely grateful to our community for their generous support with our 2020 Bond Projects and the Sinking Fund support from 2017-2026.  Here is a link to see all of the projects completed and those set to be completed this summer. 

The current sinking fund will expire at the end of 2026 unless a new request is made.  In 2017, Sinking Funds were not allowed for purchasing buses. 

 Sinking Fund rules have changed and these would now be an allowable use of funds. If you have any questions about the projects completed or planned for this summer or you would like to know more about Sinking Funds, please contact Superintendent Erfourth at 231-882-9653 or email at [email protected].

- Agriculture and Natural Resource Class -

Mr Gay's Agriculture and Natural Resources classes have been busy in the classroom identifying and dissecting Great Lakes fish, scoring deer antlers, and filling the greenhouse with seedlings for the plant sale in May (details to follow soon).

Carson Case signs letter of intent to Olivet College

It is with great pride that we congratulate Carson Case on his commitment to The University of Olivet to continue his Academic and Athletic Career. 

Carson is a multiple-time, All-Conference Basketball Player.

He was named All State this past season, as well as one of the Top Shooters in the State of Michigan.  

He is only the 11th player in Benzie Central history to reach 1,000 points. While excelling on the Basketball court, Carson also excels in the classroom,  he carries a 4.11GPA and has completed numerous Honors classes and Dual Enrollment classes during his time at Benzie Central on his way to becoming the Salutatorian for the class of 2026. 

 He is a great representative of Benzie Central  and his family.

 He will pursue a degree in Business. Benzie Central is proud of you and wishes you luck on the next step of your educational and athletic journey.
