Lake Ann Elementary - Girls Basketball

Our Lake Ann Elementary 4th grade girls basketball team completed their season on Saturday (12/13).

They topped Suttons Bay in their first game of the tournament but fell to Glen Lake Black Team, ending their season with a 6-4 record.

This 4th grade team has nothing to hang their heads about in regard to this season. They worked hard, hustled, and left it all out on the court.

They had 4 returning players this year and 3 girls who were new to the team, having never played before.

“To say I am proud of this team is an understatement. By the end of our season, every girl was making baskets, fine tuning their passes, and learning that teamwork truly makes the dream work!

Thank you to the families who supported our Husky Pups by getting them to every practice and game, we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you to the varsity girls basketball players who visited our school and inspired future players, two of our girls joined the team just because they met with you, so never doubt the difference you make. The future of Benzie Central Girls Basketball looks bright indeed….GO HUSKIES!!!”
