Kim Gramzow
Early Literacy Specialist
Kim received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and her Masters in Educational Technology from Grand Valley State University. She began her teaching career downstate and moved north after getting married and then began teaching here at Benzie County Central Schools. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. Kim’s favorite hobbies are reading and traveling.
Mrs. Granzow has worked in education for over twenty years, and has shared her talents here at Benzie Central since 2010.
Kim has taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, as well as Title I. She is now our District Literacy Coach and District Title Coordinator.
She has been a member of our Building Impact Team (BIT), Curriculum Committee and Crisis Team. Kim is currently serving on our District Impact Team (DIT), District Literacy Committee, Regional Literacy Committee, and Regional Title Committee.
Mrs. Gramzow is pivotal in supporting our teachers by bringing high levels of teaching and learning to our Benzie Central elementary students. I addition, she supports teachers with their goals around Literacy, and brings knowledge of Science of Reading to teachers.
