Sandy Magnan
Math Coach | Kindergarten – 8th Grade
Mrs. Magnan joined the Betsie Valley family in January of 2014. She has taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grades, but is now delighted to be the K-8 Math Coach. Mrs. Magnan earned her Bachelors degree in Education from Michigan State University and holds a Masters in Curriculum and instruction from Oakland University. Before moving up north in 2013, she taught 6th Grade and served as a Department Chairperson at Detroit Country Day School.
Mrs. Magnan lives in Bear Lake with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys gardening and raising animals on her farm, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
