Mark Wassa
5th Grade
Mr. Wassa joined the Betsie Valley Elementary staff as a 5th grade teacher in 1998 and has inhabited the last classroom in the hallway ever since. He studied Political Science and English at Alma College before earning a Masters Degree in Education from Aquinas College. Coach Wassa has also been a member of the Benzie Central softball staff since 1998. He enjoys spending his free time playing outside with his wife and two sons, training for his next marathon, listening to the Detroit Tigers, and laughing.
