Spanish I and II
US History
Mr. Stewart currently teaches Spanish I, Spanish II, and US History at Benzie Central High School.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Stewart was a corporate lawyer, working as a litigator at a large multinational law firm. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Hon. Yvette Kane of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Stewart has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Political Science, Economics, and Policy Studies from Syracuse University, a Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Duke University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Pennsylvania Western University. He spent a semester studying in Madrid during his undergraduate education and has additional experience working or studying in Spain, Ecuador, and Switzerland.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Stewart enjoys running, hiking, skiing, photography, reading, creative writing, and traveling.
