Mrs. Kim O’Connor first began teaching with Benzie Central Schools in September, 2002. Prior to teaching she held management positions within the business sector. Mrs. O’Connor lives in Benzie County and has been married to her husband Rex since 1993. Together they have three daughters who were all students at BCCS. Her oldest daughters are currently students at Michigan State University, and her youngest is currently at BCHS. Mrs. O’Connor received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State and a Master’s degree in Leadership Administration from Grand Valley State University. She has taught all grade levels and currently works with reading and math intervention programming. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, traveling, and walking her two dogs, Bella and Mack.
