My name is Nikki Torrey and I’m very excited to join Benzie Central Schools.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Valley State University with a major in English and a minor in History and Social Studies. I returned to Grand Valley State University to obtain my Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology.

Most recently I have attended Eastern Michigan University to complete my certification in K-12 Administration.

Previously, I worked for 16 years as an English and Social Studies teacher to students in middle school and high school. My favorite part of teaching is learning from my students. My husband, children and I enjoy traveling and spending time together. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and animals, gardening and crafting.
