Hi, My name is Tammy Lung.

I am one of the new GSRP Lead Teachers at Lake Ann Elementary.

I am excited to take on this adventure as a Co-Lead Teacher with Robbin Moore in our GSRP/Tuition blended classroom.

I love working with Preschool children as they bring learning alive with their infinite amount of curiosity. My favorite thing is to hear them exclaim, “I did it” and the joy on their faces when they accomplish hard tasks for themselves.

I have over 20 years’ experience working in various avenues of Early Childhood Education. I have worked in center-based programs, had my own in-home daycare for many years and have spent the last 6 years working in Preschool classrooms. I have my Bachelor’s in Child and Family Development from Western Michigan University.

I have been married for almost 33 years to my high school sweetheart, Larry, and we have an almost 17-year-old daughter who will be a senior at Frankfort High School this year. We also have a 1-year-old cat named Ila and a new puppy named Scout.

I am a lifelong resident of Benzie County (except for when I lived in Germany for 2 years) and a graduate of Benzie Central High School.
