Wallace Fryer II “Chip”

2nd Grade

Hello!
My name is Chip Fryer and I am the second grade teacher at Lake Ann Elementary.
This is my first year and I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful staff. I am truly blessed, honored, and privileged to be a teacher at Lake Ann Elementary.
Last year, I was the full time building substitute and I fell in love with the place on the very first day.
I graduated from Glen Lake in 1986. Basketball coach, Mr. Don Miller, was my inspiration to become a teacher.
I graduated from Ferris State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I then began my quest to become a teacher later that fall when I enrolled at Grand Valley State University. I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I then went back in 2007 and earned my Master’s degree from Grand Valley State University in Special Education. Some might say I have more degrees than a thermometer.
I have been affiliated with Benzie Central for the last 19 years as the boys and girls head bowling coach. Bowling is in my blood as I have been competing for 32 years. I have had a lot of success on the lanes. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, working as a cook at LaSenorita, and watching Marvel movies.
I look forward to teaching all of the young Huskies and watching them grow.
